Why we are different?

We aim to make a real difference to our clients. Listed below are just some of the reasons we are different from other management consulting firms, although perhaps our most important difference is the experience we have on both sides of the fence.

1. We work for only one client in any given industry. This means that if we work for you we will not be working for your competitors.
2. We are a low-leverage firm. The ratio of partners and directors to other professionals in the company is low; about 1:2. This means that the people who will show up and do the work for you usually include a partner or director, and they will stick around, not be rushing off to other work. You get the full benefit of the experience and drive of our senior people.
3. We hire for aptitude and train for attitude. (If you believe that our use of the terms "aptitude" / "attitude" is misguided or simply meaningless, please contact us and let us know, because we have had much internal debate over this and would really like to hear your views as a client or potential client or potential employee.) We hire people with exceptional educational qualifications and talent, and then invest heavily in training them in interpersonal and group-dynamic skills, as well as in technical and management areas. This means we can provide capable technical experts who know how to rub along in the corporate environment.
4. We use Apple IT and Apple iPhones. We do this because we find it lowers our costs of technology and increases our ability to serve our clients. We can do more, faster, for you than we could with other technology. However, we also familiar with IBM/Wintel compatible IT and often use it when embedded in a client organization.
5. We invest heavily in training our consultants to ensure they meet high professional standards and can do what you want.
6. We are an ISO 9001 accredited organization and are always evaluating our work and the lessons learnt.
